We live in a world that is all about creations; all the things around us have been created by various people. Various types of technologies that are being used to record us and watch us are created by individual designers or a team of creative designers. These clever designers are engineers. When it comes down to creating something, engineers come to the fore. Now, one can think of engineering as a kind of science- that is not wrong, but it is more useful to think that science is a tool. Engineers combine scientific principles with mathematical principles to develop solutions for various problems.
Math is the core of engineering, but what is more important are the ideas and applications. They help us understand how we use math to solve problems. Engineers want to solve the problems to the questions because in the process of designing clever things, what engineering really does is solve problems. Today, the scope of engineering is much broader than it used to be a few years back. Engineering is a key driver for innovation and human development.
Engineering is imagining, conceptualizing, and creating things that solve problems and make our lives better and more enjoyable. Engineering is all around us, and engineers are all around us. Engineering is a scientific field and job that involves taking our scientific understanding of the natural world and using it to invent, design and build things to solve problems and achieve practical goals.
