Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as
compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/
Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer
Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/
Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ BusinessStudies. Obtained at
least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken
together.
OR
Passed Diploma (in Engineering and
Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at
lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission to the
B.Tech / B.Tech (Lateral) course is given on the basis of the
rank obtained by the candidate in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State
Entrance Exam) or direct admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank
and/or 10+2 merit.
Firstly, by the qualified candidates of JEE(Main)/UPSEE (current year), who fulfill the eligibility, Thereafter, by the merit of candidates in qualifying examinations laid down by AICTE for admission to various programmes which are updated from time to time.
For B.Tech, candidates must have passed the intermediate exam or
its equivalent, with a minimum of 45% marks, from any recognized
Board with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
For B.Tech (Lateral Entry in Second Year), candidates
must have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch
of engineering or three year B.Sc. degree plus having passed 10+2
exam with mathematics as one subject, with a minimum of 45%
marks.
Students appearing for 10+2 or
Engineering Diploma are also eligible.
Admission to the MBA course is given on the basis of the rank
obtained by the candidate in UPSEE or direct admission on the
basis of CAT / MAT score.
Admission to the MCA
/ MCA (Lateral) course is given on the basis of the rank obtained
by the candidate in UPSEE.
Candidates must
fulfill all the eligibility requirements before filling up the
UPSEE application form. For appearing in the exam, students can
apply online through the official website of UPSEE.
Candidates
must possess a graduate degree without any grace from any
recognized university.
He/She must have obtained at
least 50% marks in the degree examination. Students appearing for
final year are also eligible.
